Can read Japanese but
still can’t speak?
Fix it in 8 weeks.
You’re not lazy. You’re training the wrong thing.
Switch to speaking-first training and start having real conversations.
Sound Familiar?
You can read menus, follow dramas, maybe even passed JLPT. But the moment you need to actually speak, everything falls apart.
I understand… but can’t respond fast.
You can read and understand what people say. But by the time you construct a reply in your head, the moment has passed.
I freeze—and the conversation dies.
The panic of not finding the right word. The awkward silence. The other person switches to English “to help.” Every time.
My Japanese sounds textbook, not natural.
You speak “correct” Japanese that no one actually uses. It sounds stiff, formal, and immediately marks you as a learner.
“More input won’t fix this. More textbooks won’t fix this. You need a different approach.”
It’s Not Your Effort.
It’s Your Training Direction.
More input (textbooks, apps, dramas) won’t fix freezing in real conversations.
You need output + live correction + repetition—the exact loop that builds real speaking ability.
We train the exact skills you use in real talk—not textbook Japanese that no one actually speaks.
I paid for language school—and still couldn’t speak.
I studied in Canada and spent a lot on traditional classes. I learned “about English,” but I couldn’t actually hold a conversation. I understood grammar, I could read articles—but in a real conversation, I froze.
Then I switched to output-first training: real speaking situations, live correction, and drilling the same scenarios until they became natural. Within two months, I could finally communicate.
That’s why this Japanese program is built the same way. It’s not lack of effort—it’s lack of speaking-focused training.
Typical Classes vs. This Program.
Most classes give you more input. This program fixes the gap between what you know and what you can actually say.
Typical Classes
- More input, more textbooks, more grammar
- Group pace—not targeting your specific bottleneck
- You learn “Japanese,” but not how to control a conversation
- No live correction—mistakes go unchecked
- Years of study, still can’t hold a real conversation
This 1:1 Program
- Speaking-first: fix your bottleneck fast
- Live correction in 1:1 sessions—mistakes fixed on the spot
- Train real speaking skills: flow, rephrase, recover, sound natural
- Roleplay → instant correction → repeat the same scene successfully
- Visible progress within weeks, not years
The 4 Speaking Skills
If you can read but still can’t speak, you’re missing these four skills. This is what we build in every session.
Conversation Flow
Stall, connect, close, switch topics—keep the conversation alive instead of letting it die after 2 exchanges.
→ Keep the conversation alive
Repair & Rephrasing
Restart, rephrase, give examples, confirm meaning—recover smoothly when you hit a wall.
→ Recover instead of freezing
Clarifying
Polite clarifying questions, summary checks, key-word listening—stay in control without pretending you understood.
→ Stay in control of the conversation
Natural Japanese
Shorter sentences, natural reactions, softening, politeness levels—sound like a real person, not a textbook.
→ Sound smooth & confident
What 60 Minutes Looks Like
Every session follows the same high-intensity loop. No filler, no wasted time.
Warm-up Small Talk
Casual Japanese conversation. Sets the pace and reveals your current comfort level.
Roleplay + Live Correction
Real conversation simulation with live correction. I stop you at key moments, fix the phrasing, explain why, and give you the natural version.
Repeat the Scene
Redo the same scenario with corrections applied. You don’t just learn it—you succeed at it before the session ends.
Next Mission
A simple, real-world task to try before the next session. No heavy homework—just one thing to practice in a real conversation.
The Roadmap
Here’s what each phase focuses on.
Diagnostic & Foundation
Assess your speaking gaps. Identify your top freezing triggers and build initial conversation patterns.
Flow & Recovery
Build your rephrasing muscle. Practice keeping conversations alive when you don't know the exact word.
Natural Expression
Replace textbook phrases with natural patterns. Work on rhythm, filler words, and sentence-ending particles.
Real Conversations
Full conversation simulations — first meeting to exchanging contacts. Handle unexpected topics and small talk.

Before You Decide
What level do I need?
If you can read Japanese but speaking is still hard, you're the right fit. Most clients are around JLPT N3–N2 in reading but much lower in speaking output.
Is the consultation really free?
Yes. No pressure. We'll identify your speaking bottleneck and give you 1–2 immediate fixes. If it's not a fit, I'll tell you honestly.
Do I need to submit voice recordings?
No. All correction happens live in your 1:1 sessions. Between sessions, you can optionally send short audio (≤30 sec) for pronunciation questions via chat.
Is chat support unlimited?
No. Up to 5 questions per week, with replies within 48 hours (business days). This covers phrasing, politeness, rephrasing, and pronunciation questions. Not included: long-form proofreading, translation, or instant replies.
